This innovative workshop explores the emerging and clinically significant intersection between hormone-sensitive conditions in women and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The session will cover the prevalence, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of conditions including premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), menopause, and endometriosis, alongside ADHD in women.
This targeted workshop is designed for general practitioners, nurse practitioners, and nurses.

Understand the prevalence and emerging evidence linking ADHD with hormone-sensitive conditions including PMDD, menopause and endometriosis.
Describe the underlying pathophysiology and the impact of hormonal fluctuations on ADHD symptoms across the lifespan.
Develop a structured, clinically practical approach to history-taking and assessment in women presenting with overlapping hormonal and mental health symptoms.
Differentiate between ADHD and hormone-related conditions, recognising common areas of overlap and diagnostic complexity.
Apply evidence-based pharmacological and non-pharmacological management strategies tailored to women in primary care.
