Clinical Nurse Lead (0.8 - 1.0 FTE)

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior clinical leadership role at the Medical & Injury Centre (MIC), an accredited, well-established Urgent Care Clinic serving our community seven days a week. As urgent care continues to evolve, MIC is committed to innovative, high-quality, patient-centred care – and we are looking for a Clinical Nurse Lead to be part of that journey.
About the role
The Clinical Nurse Lead is a leadership role, combining hands-on clinical practice with strategic and people leadership. The role includes dedicated, rostered clinical time on the floor, working directly with patients and alongside nurses, paramedics and doctors, while also providing clinical direction, mentoring and professional leadership to the nursing and paramedic workforce.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the Medical Director and Operations Manager to support service development, accreditation, quality improvement and workforce capability – helping to shape the future landscape of urgent care in our region.
This role is flexible at 0.8 – 1.0 FTE, offering the opportunity to tailor your working hours while maintaining a strong clinical and leadership presence.
