General Practitioner / Nurse Practitioner (up to 0.8 FTE negotiable)
Golden Bay Community Health is a Rural Integrated Health Centre consisting of a Medical Centre, Urgent Care, Allied Health, Community Nursing, Well-Child, Maternity, In-Patients and Aged Residential Care. We have a nationally recognised model of rural integrated care, which leverages of functional relationships with other community health and wellbeing providers.

We are currently recruiting for the role of:
GENERAL PRACTITIONER or NURSE PRACTITIONER
up to 0.8 FTE (64 Hours per fortnight, negotiable)
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join the General Practice Team. This position will play a pivotal role in providing competent patient centred and culturally appropriate care that addresses individual and whanau health needs. As a promoter of wellness to our rural community, this role is an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team.
Our five permanent doctors and two nurse practitioners provide both primary care and 24/7 urgent care on a 1:7 roster.
We are looking for an energetic person who can make a difference to our residents, patients, and wider community.
About you:
You will be a vocationally registered as a General Practitioner (or on the pathway to vocational registration) or a registered Nurse Practitioner
Possess exceptional communication skills to interface with all stakeholders, management and clinical delivery teams;
Ability to work well under pressure.
