The Medical and Injury Centre is a high-performing, accredited Urgent Care Clinic just minutes from the city centre. With over 29,000 patient visits a year, our multidisciplinary team of urgent care physicians, GPs, nurse practitioners, nurses, paramedics, HCAs and receptionists deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
About the Role
As Medical Director, you’ll lead, mentor, and support the team while continuing to practice clinically. You will join a supportive, forward thinking leadership team committed to shaping the future of our urgent care service together. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence on how urgent care is delivered in Nelson.
You’ll bring:
Fellowship with RNZCUC or you are on the Urgent Care pathway
Leadership and team-building skills
Experience in acute care, X-ray, ECG interpretation, and community IV therapy
Current APC and CORE Advanced
