Nelson Bays Primary Health (NBPH) is the Primary Health Organisation (PHO) for the Nelson Tasman region. PHO’s lead and co-ordinate primary health care within the local community. NBPH also manages an integrated health facility, Golden Bay Community Health, who deliver a wide range of health services to the local rural community in Takaka.

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Richmond based office for the following role:
Mātanga Kai - Dietitian
Permanent position (40 hours per week, 1.0 FTE)
Do you want to be part of a busy, established Primary Care Dietitian team? Are you a new graduate or are you looking to move into an exciting role within our Dietitian service? The role focuses on lifestyle-related long-term conditions, and you will provide a clinical dietetic service including individual/whānau consultations delivered in the General Practice setting. You will also support NBPH group self-management programmes (such as Type 2 Diabetes education, cardiac rehab) and provide workforce development to the primary care workforce.
The successful applicant will:
Be a New Zealand registered practising Dietitian; new graduates considered.
Have endorsement as a Prescribing Dietitian
Have strong professional and interpersonal skills for working in a range of different teams and environments
Be committed to implementing the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi within their work
