Nelson Bays Primary Health (NBPH) is the Primary Health Organisation (PHO) for the Nelson Tasman region. PHO’s lead and co-ordinate primary health care within the local community.  NBPH also manages an integrated health facility, Golden Bay Community Health, who deliver a wide range of health services to the local rural community in Takaka.

Physiotherapist (Non-Malignant Pain Service)

0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our team at Nelson Bays Primary Health, to support patients living with chronic pain.

The successful applicant would work alongside our diverse multi-disciplinary team, which includes HIPs, Health Coaches, Registered Nurses, Locality Care Coordinators, Dietitians, Healthy Lifestyle Facilitators, and Counsellors. 

The successful applicant will:

  • Be self-motivated and a team player

  • Ideally have experience working with clients living with chronic pain

  • Have strong coordination skills

  • Have a strong desire to improve health outcomes for our community 

We require the successful applicants to work 20 hours (0.5 FTE) per week. You should be a registered clinician (where mandatory) or member of a relevant association (where not mandatory).
