Practice Nurse - Hauora Health Centre

Practice Nurse 3 Days a week maternity cover for 6+months
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Practice Nurse

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Nursing APC

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Nursing

• Cervical smear-taker and/or HPV primary screening certification (preferred)

• Authorised Independent Vaccinator (desirable)

• IV therapy experience (desirable)

• Excellent communication skills and a great sense of humour (an absolute essential skill)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Run nursing clinics and manage the treatment room

• Conduct in-person and virtual consultations

• Provide acute accident and medical care

• Manage long-term conditions and assist with minor procedures

• Deliver vaccinations (adult, child, COVID-19) and health screenings

• Perform wound care, phlebotomy, and IV therapy

• Handle clinical inboxes with dedicated admin time

• Participate in peer reviews, clinical supervision, and scenario training
