Nelson Bays Primary Health (NBPH) is the Primary Health Organisation for the Nelson Tasman region. PHOs lead and coordinate primary health care within the local community.

Practice Operations Coordinator

0.8 FTE (32 hours/week)

This unique, fast-paced, and variety-filled role works within the Primary Health Team to closely support the General Practice teams within our region.

The Practice Operations Coordinator will provide efficient customer services and administrative functions to assist our efforts to support the primary health networks. This includes working with, General Practice staff, Practice Relationship managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that contractual obligations around our clinical programs are met, with a particular focus on claims.

We require the successful applicant to:

• Be proficient with excel and numbers

• Come with an accounting background or previous experience in accounting/finances

• Be a proven administrator with exceptional knowledge in all Microsoft Office packages

• Experience within the Health Sector would be an advantage

• Be enthusiastic, task-focused, and hard-working

• Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to work independently and within various teams

• Think laterally have sound problem-solving skills

• Be open to change and willing to adapt and initiate change
