Urgent Care Nurses
Two Parental Leave (Fixed-Term) Roles (0.8 FTE and 0.6 FTE)
The Medical and Injury Centre (MIC) is an accredited Urgent Care Clinic near the city centre. Open 7 days a week from 8.00am to 10.00pm, our multidisciplinary team includes Urgent Care and General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and reception staff.
We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses to join our Urgent Care team on a parental leave (fixed-term) basis. These part-time roles offer the chance to work in a fast-paced, urgent care clinical environment with access to excellent on-site resources, including X-ray services and streamlined documentation.
We offer:
• Two part-time parental leave (fixed-term) roles: 0.8 FTE and 0.6 FTE
• Rostered shifts Monday–Sunday between 8.00am and 10.00pm
• Salary as per MECA rates, based on experience and qualifications
• Up to 5 days paid training leave per year (including CENNZ NZ Triage Course if required)
• Free parking and good coffee nearby
You will have:
• Minimum two years’ experience in Emergency or Urgent Care nursing
• Nurse triage experience
• Current NZNC registration and APC
• Core Advanced certificate
• Experience in orthopaedics and casting (preferred)
To be eligible, applicants must be able to work in New Zealand and obtain a satisfactory police check.
