Sarah Hoyle

Sarah joined Nelson Bays Primary Health in 2025 as General Manager of Golden Bay Community Health. She brings over 30 years of experience in the health sector, including executive leadership roles across Te Whatu Ora  | Health New Zealand the ambulance sector. Prior to joining NBPH, Sarah was the Regional Manager Rural Health – Northern Region, where she led collaborative planning with providers and communities to improve access and outcomes in rural areas. 

Sarah has a strong background in emergency management, corporate risk, and digital health. She is passionate about equity, rural health, and community wellbeing, and brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in delivering care to remote communities. Sarah has also contributed to the wider community through her roles on the Local Advisory Committee for Fire and Emergency NZ and as Chair of Dress for Success Northland.
