Registered Nurse — Permanent | Part Time- ST Lukes Health Centre 0.5FTE
We are looking for a caring and motivated Registered Nurse to join our supportive and friendly team in a well-established, values-based Christian general practice in Nelson.
St Luke’s Health Centre provides holistic, patient-centred primary care to approximately 2,100 enrolled patients. We are a close-knit team that values kindness, respect, continuity of care, and meaningful relationships with our community.
This is a permanent part-time role (0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week), working:
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 08:30 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:30 – 12:30
About the role:
You will be part of a collaborative primary care team, delivering high-quality nursing care across a range of services including chronic condition management, acute care, immunisations, and preventative health.
This role has a strong community focus, including supporting refugee and migrant populations, with a commitment to Māori and Pacific health equity.
Key responsibilities:
• Immunisations and cervical screening
• Wound care and long-term condition management
• Triage and acute presentations
• Health education and patient support
• Assisting with procedures and clinical administration
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administration team
About you:
• Current NZ Nursing Council registration and APC
• Experience in primary care/general practice nursing (preferred)
• Confident working independently and within a team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Patient-focused, adaptable, and positive approach
• Authorised vaccinator status (preferred but not essential)
• Flexibility to work across both clinic sites when required
