NBPH is seeking a motivated clinician to make a difference in the youth mental health and well-being sector within the Nelson Bays region in the following role:

Youth Wellbeing Clinician

64hours fortnightly (0.8FTE)

This is an exciting role within the Youth Primary Mental Health & Addiction programme (YPMHA) and is an opportunity for someone special to combine clinical and interpersonal skills with their passion for helping young people across our community, working in close partnership with stakeholders. This is a youth-focused service which seeks to increase the access to, and choice of primary mental health and addiction services for youth populations, ages 12 to 24 years, inclusive. The programmes focus on young people who are experiencing a mild to moderate (including moderate) level of distress and will closely work with team members and key stakeholders across Te Tau Ihu.

The YPMHA programme will expand the continuum of support, treatment and therapy available for young people experiencing distress and promote early detection and intervention.
